Multiliquid recently announced the close of its seed round led by Polychain, with participation from Strobe Ventures, CMT Digital, Metalayer Ventures, Generative Ventures, and Circle Ventures, bringing total funding to $8 million. The Block has more on the raise.

We first backed Will Beeson and the Uniform Labs team at the pre-seed in May 2025 and laid out our thinking here. Our position converted into this round, and the core idea has only gotten sharper since.

On-chain money is splitting into two jobs. Tokenized money market and Treasury funds earn yield. Payment stablecoins move value, but under the GENIUS Act their issuers can’t pay yield directly to holders. Multiliquid is the neutral layer that connects them: holders keep capital in yield-bearing tokenized funds and convert to stablecoins atomically, at NAV, at the moment they need to spend, with each issuer’s compliance rules enforced at settlement. It works across issuers and venues, so no single asset manager or stablecoin has to be the winner. In traditional markets, repo and overnight lending do this job. Multiliquid is building that plumbing on-chain.

The protocol is live on Ethereum and Solana, supporting tokenized funds from Wellington, VanEck, Janus Henderson, and Fasanara alongside USDC, with initial pilot transactions underway.

Congratulations, Will and team.
